General Questions

Q: Do you deliver every photo taken?

A: No we do not. Given that we take more than one photo for each pose, including test shots and duplicates. We select the best images from the session and deliver those images to our clients to select their images

Q: What cities/areas do you currently serve?

A: I currently offer my services primarily within Dawson Creek as that is where I currently live. I also offer some occasional services in Fort St. John and Grande Prairie depending on scheduling. For all of my Vancouver clients, I will release information about my next trip to Vancouver and book you within the time I am there

Q: Which photographer will shoot my session?

A: Considering we are a single business owner, you will be meeting with the owner/photographer for your session. Don’t worry you’ll like him. He’s outgoing, energetic, and captures amazing images

Post-Production and Delivery Questions

Q: How long does it take to get my images for proofing?

A: We aim to have proofing completed for each client within a week of the session date. This all depends on our schedule and the events that are happening.

Q: What is proofing?

A: Each package comes with a certain number of images. Proofing is the process where the clients select their number of images (e.g. 30 images) and favorite them (that is how we know which images they want) Once we receive the email that this is complete, we edit those images for final delivery

Q: Can a client purchase the entire gallery or additional image?

A: Yes, we offer the entire gallery at a flat rate and a per-image rate if a client desires to have more than the allotted images. Please contact your photographer for more information on this

Q: When can I expect my images?

A: Once you have selected your images, we can normally have the final images completed within a couple of days, depending on our schedule and ongoing events. we always tell clients to expect to wait up to 2 weeks for processing.

Q: Can I get RAW images?

A: No, our work is best viewed when the final product is delivered. Think if a chef would serve you a raw steak, we honestly want a cooked steak to our preference (does anyone like medium-rare)

Equipment Questions

Q: What type of camera/equipment do you use?

A: We aim to have excellent-quality images at affordable prices. A part of that commitment to our clients is that we don’t operate with top-of-the-line cameras. Our cameras still capture beautiful images in every scenario that we encounter. Click here to see our Photography Equipment

Q: I’ve seen some of your videos on YouTube, where do you get your music for these videos?

A: I use two main resources for all of my music. The first one is an independent artist who allows individuals to use his music free of charge (with credit given of course) and the other is called Morning Light Music which is a paid royalty-free music resource. I believe I paid around $200 for a lifetime license, which allows me to download and use the music in which ever capacity I need to

Payment Questions

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards; Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please note all credit card transactions are subject to a 2.5% service charge.  We also accept all Canadian debit cards, cash and E-Transfer

Q: Do you accept Venmo, Cash App, or Paypal?

A: No, E-Transfer is a free service provided by all Canadian Financial Institutions and is the most secure

Q: I’m from the USA, will my session fee be in my local currency?

A: No, our payment processing gateway will process your payment in Canadian funds. Your credit/debit card will convert it into US funds plus may charge you a currency exchange fee.

Q: Do you charge sales tax (GST/PST)?

A: No, since we are well under the GST/HST along with the BC PST thresholds. This could change in the future, should this be the case it will be shared not only on my website but as well as our social media channels

Q: If in the future you are required to charge PST, will Alberta clients be exempt?

A: No, since our business is based in British Columbia. We have to follow BC regulations regarding PST legislation. We will share more information should this arise
